These new unissued pouches in desert DPM camo pattern were designed to carry the Personal Role Radio, the standard communications system of all infantry soldiers in the field.

Various openings in the side and base of the pouch to give access to switches and controls for quick and efficient operation.

Large press stud and elasticated top strap holds the main radio securely in its pouch.

Molle attachment loops at the rear of the pouch to secure it to the shoulder of an Osprey vest or similar, also included are two horizontal quick release straps to secure it horizontally to yoke straps or shoulder straps of rucksacks or assault vests which are not MOLLE compatible.
Handy little pouch, could just as easily be used to hold small Motorola or similar type civilian radio systems, if desired.
